VARIATIONS


Carburetors differ according to size and thus air flow capacity. Larger engines consume more air than smaller engines do and thus require bigger carburetors. Large carburetors usually have four barrels; small ones only have a one or two barrels. Airflow capacity can generally range from 300 cfm to 800 cfm.
